Glenn Fines
Professional Rating: Master Scuba Diver Trainer
Favorite Course: Open Water
Favorite Dive Site: Vancouver Island
Glenn earned his open water certification in 1993 in Winnipeg, MB to compliment his interest and intention of becoming a Marine Biologist. During his graduate studies on shark and ray physiology he dove regularly in the Bay of Fundy area near St. Andrews, NB. Glenn has also enjoyed diving in the Bahamas, the Dominican Republic, Cozumel (Mexico), Belize and Vancouver Island.
Glenn earned his Open Water Scuba Instructor certification in 2005 allowing him to combine his teaching skills with his love of Scuba Diving. His favorite dive location is the West Coast of British Columbia because of the abundance of “BIG” marine life and the rich colors.
Glenn’s favorite course to teach is the open water certification course because it’s very rewarding and challenging. Glenn has recently completed the DSAT Tec Deep Diver certification and is looking forward to earning his Tec Instructor certification. Glenn is also a certified equipment technician (Scubapro, Aeris, Zeagle, and Cress-sub), a DSAT gas blender, and a PSI certified (through Nov. 2012) visual cylinder inspector, valve repair technician, oxygen cylinder cleaning technician, and visual eddy current technician.
