Highway 1 west to Canmore, follow road signs to Canmore Nordic Centre, once at the Centre continue on Spray Lakes road for 3.4 miles (dive site is on left side of road).

Minimum recommended experience level is Advanced Open Water.

Walk in and out from a gravel shoreline with some larger rocks.

Bottom Conture:
Gradual slope no major variances in depth.

Bottom Composition:
Rocky bottom and entry and exit points, some debris evident i.e. large rocks and tree branches.

Currents:
Strong currents may be present but vary depending on the season and annual runoff.

Water Temperature
Anywhere from 40° - 55° F. Drysuit or 2 piece 7mm wet suit recommended for exposure protection.

Visibility:
Anywhere from 5 - 20ft.

Depth:
20 - 45 feet maximum with very little variance.

Marine Life:
Marine Life consists of Lake Trout, Rainbow Trout and Whitefish.

Vegetation:
Vegetation consists of grassy weed beds.

Underwater Attractions:
None.

Hazards:
Water temperature, possible strong currents, easy access to man made tunnel which requires cave diver certification DO NOT ENTER. Some power boats, fishing line and altitude.
